On Thursday 1st of March 2007 La Vita proudly presents the finest UK female artists in the Dance Industry. These ladies have collaborated together to support a cause which has affected the lives of so many people across the globe, Breast Cancer. Woman supporting women, a movement that has started to raise not only money but most importantly awareness in club land. The inception of this movement is La Vita, and it is imminently upon us.
Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in the UK. One in nine women will be affected by it at some point in their lives, and nearly 44,000 women are diagnosed every single year. Every month, 1000 women lose their battle with the disease. These statistics are offered as information on a daily basis; however we must remember that we are talking about people not numbers. These figures may represent the lives of our mothers, our sisters, our grandmothers and even our own children.
Organisations such as Breakthrough Breast Cancer are committed to fighting breast cancer through research and education. However, the number of women being diagnosed with the disease is still rising every year. So much more needs to be done and La Vita is calling for the support of club land to help drive awareness and raise funds for the medical research and treatment which is so desperately needed.
La Vita is honoured to be working with Sin in London to celebrate the inauguration of the campaign to help beat Breast Cancer. The dark and decedent club will be providing the perfect backdrop for a night of musical mastery and debauchery bought to you by some of the hottest female talent around. Across three rooms our ladies will be spinning a range of house genres from the most upfront tunes which are taking club land by storm, right through to some of the golden club classics. This night has got something to suit every Dance musical taste.
If you share our vision to help change the future then please come down to Sin on 1st March 2007. There is no fee for entrance, but we do ask you to make a donation on the door.
